Govt. Polytechnic for Women Jammu was established in the year 1988 to meet the technical education requirements of female students of the society. All the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to J&K Board of Technical Education. It has newly constructed well equipped administrative block, academic block, hostel block, multipurpose hall and residential quarters.
